Setting up your account for the first time

On the launch of the PIPs platform (22nd July 2026) you should receive an email to the mailbox that is used for all GSG communications. This email will contain your username and temporary password as well as a link to the new parent portal.

In case you have not received this email on or after the 22nd of July 2026, please get in touch with GSG IT on (08) 9844 0333 or support@gsg.wa.edu.au.

You should land on this page:

Click on the blue "Log In" button. Then select "Parent Sign In"

When you reach the sign-in page you have some options:

• Sign-in using the username and temporary password provided in your PIPs email
  • Upon sign-in, you will be requested to set a new password 
  • This sign-in method will also send you an email code as part of the multi-factor authentication security method
• Sign-in with Apple
  • Your Apple email address needs to match the email address recorded with GSG
• Sign-in with Facebook
  • Your Facebook email address needs to match the email address recorded with GSG
• Sign-in with Google
  • Your Google email address needs to match the email address recorded with GSG
• Sign-in with Microsoft
  • Your Microsoft email address needs to match the email address recorded with GSG

Once you have signed-in, you will be taken back to the Portal home page, and you will see a list of available links including MyGSG, SEQTA, Community Portal and more.

SEQTA App Setup

In order to link the SEQTA mobile app over to use PIPs, please refer to the below steps. Ensure that you have set up your account using the steps above first.

1. Install the SEQTA Engage App (if you haven't already) 
   1. SEQTA Engage – Apps on Google Play
   2. ‎SEQTA Engage App - App Store
2. Open your phone's web browser and navigate to https://engage.gsg.wa.edu.au or follow the SEQTA Engage link on https://my.gsg.wa.edu.au 
3. If you haven't signed in to the SEQTA App yet -> Tap the Sign in with PIPs button. 
   1. Sign in with your preferred account that you used to set up your PIPs access.
4. Tap the 3-line menu at the top left, then scroll down and select Settings
5. Tap the Connect Mobile app button and follow the prompts.
6. The SEQTA Engage App will open and sign-in automatically.
